Good morning!  I have been so anxious for the 1st of November to arrive, and it is finally here.  Hooray!  I am overjoyed to let you know that not only will I be participating in my friend Tracey's incredible 25 Days of Christmas Tags event, but I am on her design team this year.  Yippee!  There have been lots of squees and smiles and happy dancing going on here the last several weeks...and tag making.  Lots of tag making.  If the fun of this event isn't enough to get you participating, look at the amazing line-up of sponsors.

So many prizes to be won!  It's going to be an inspiration packed month that hopefully brightens everyone's spirits.  I'll be posting every day, and I hope you'll join me in the fun!  If you're new to this event or just want to brush-up on all the deets, you can find everything you need to know HERE on Tracey's blog.  Today is officially the first day of the 25 Days of Christmas Tags and our fabulous sponsor is Sunny Studio.

I had so much fun making these tags that I went a little overboard and made four.  First up uses Sunny Studio's Hedgey Holidays.  Is he not the cutest?!

As soon as I saw this adorable hedgehog all I could do is picture him rolling down a hill, so I knew I had to make this an interactive tag.  If you look reeeeally closely you'll see that there is indeed a super glittery hill of snow on the bottom half of this tag that this little guy can roll down as demonstrated below. :)
Just one more note: hedgehogs may be my favorite animal to color.  I had the best time just randomly making lines in browns and white to look like his prickly spines.  If only all images were that enjoyable to color...I'd probably color more! Ha!
The hedgey tag is made with the largest of Sunny Studio's Scalloped Tag Circle Dies.  Next up is a trio of tags using the smallest of the Scalloped Tag Circle Dies.  This trio is a great example of how you can easily use non-holiday products from your stash to make holiday tags.
I have a niece who is particulary fond of sloths, so I pulled out Sunny Studio's Silly Sloths Stamps.  I LOVE this set!  This particular set is easy to add holiday accessories to.
I simply dressed up the branches with some of the holly leaves (found in the Hedgey Holidays stamp set) and added a gift (from Sunny Studio's Turtley Awesome stamp set).  I even made a little slit between the sloths hands, so he could hold the gift a bit more comfortably.  I wanted him on a red polka dot paper, but I didn't have a shade bright enough for my liking, so I made some myself by coloring white cardstock with a red marker and adding a few white polka dots with a gel pen.  I felt a ridiculous amount of satisfaction being able to problem solve and create my own.
In fact so much so that I used a green marker to draw the background on this next tag, too.
Doesn't this little sloth look so happy surrounded by all his gifts?
My last tag fetures not just the gift but one of the darling turtles from the Turtley Awesome stamp set. One of my little girls always looks for eyelashes as an indicator that an animal is a girl, so naturally this tag will be for her.
This time I used the little holly stamp to create the background, and there is just something about this black and white background that makes me so happy.  I love it!  It's my favorite, but shhh...don't tell the others.
Just in case you haven't seen enough of these cuties, I'll leave you with one last shot of them all together.  I can't wait to tie these onto gifts this year.

Thanks so much for visiting today!  In case you didn't start at Tracey's blog, head back there to see the oodles of amazing tag inspiration as well as to find out how to play along.  There are so many prizes to be won this month, too.  You definitely don't want to miss out!
